The New Mortal Kombat Will Want To Make You

Daily Games News - Mortal Kombat X

I dunno, finish someone off?

Get it?  Finish someone off?  Ha ha ha.  <sarcasm voice> "Very clever."  </sarcasm voice> I know right?  Sometimes I even surprise myself.  But hey, have you seen the trailer yet?  It's the new installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise, Mortal Kombat X. "Is it read as Eks or Ten?"  I don't know.  Why would you care anyway?  It's a new Mortal Kombat and if the gameplay mechanics *cough* environmental objects *cough* would be as good as the trailer then it's going to be an awesome game.  If there's one thing that I don't like though, it is the outcome of the fight.  Oh and the music.  Guess that makes it two.

Flappy Bird Final Level Boss

Daily, Funny, Gadgets, Games - Flappy Bird Final Levels

Who do you think stands before the duck bird.

Yes, yes, we've all heard of this awful, awful, game everyone who has played love to hate.  It's about the journey of one poorly-drawn bird (my 7-year-old son could do a ton better) navigating through a series of familiar-looking pipes with familiar-sounding chimes that appear to have no ending.  Or is there?

While I'm already contented with my personal best at 26, this guy in the video has taken the Fapping Bird game, did I just say fapping?  Sorry, Flappy..  well beyond the realms of reality.

Keep going for the video.

Castlevania: Lord of Shadows 2 Playable Demo Now Available

Gadgets and Gaming - Castlevania: Lord of Shadows 2

After two years of waiting, gaming fans, rejoice!  Wohoo!

The first Castlevania that I played was way back in the Nintendo Famicom.  It was the best side-scrolling game in my opinion then.  Believe it or not, I was only able to finish the game after college.  That long huh?  I always seem to get stuck back then in the Ripper's level and never got to finish the game before the game cartridge broke.  After college, I saw a Famicom for sale complete with several game cartridges that included Castlevania.  I just had to buy it.  I needed the closure.

Game trailer and  download link after the jump.

All I Want for Next Christmas

Amusing, Games, Gadgets - Skyrim

I want this.  Like now.

Cyberith Virtualizer + Oculus Rift + Wii Controller, now that's what I call a dream rig.  And I've just the perfect plan on what to say to my wife to get her blessings.  You see, Skyrim has an expansive free-roaming game world - 37.1 km² if translated in real-world - almost all of that is explorable.  Also, if you're just starting, you'd have to run your butt from one place to another doing quests - all 37.1km² of it.

Fus! Ro! Dah!

If you're into gaming, you probably know the meaning of the title.

Ahh, Skyrim. The great world that is not.  Never have I stuck around playing a game this long, not even with Diablo and all its sequels.  Two years after it was released, here I am still at it.  It's because of Skyrim that I have not seriously played any new game that came out in 2012 and 2013.  Starcraft II, Crysis 3,  Assassin's Creed III, Total War: Rome II, Diablo 3, and other great games in those two years that I have bought and either installed in my laptop but have not really seriously played at all or left in their DVD sleeves to gather dust.  I get bored after just a few minutes of playing those that I've installed. This is not good for my gaming health.  Not good at all.

What makes Skyrim great?  Well, it's got 9.5 rating from IGN (which translates into Amazing) and it's 1 of  2 of the only western games that got a perfect score in Japan's infamous Famitsu.  See for yourself.

I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee.
